The Waking Moment tells the story of pretty boy Benny Yarde (Diaco), a cruiserweight boxer give the opportunity of a title shot after a post on social media makes him go viral. Days before the fight he's caught carrying a banned substance in his system and is replaced with another fighter. As Benny spirals into a world of darkness that brings to light of a past trauma of the loss of his twin brother that died at birth.
